My name is Laura Santoki and I come from a family who loves and appreciates everything food. Nothing is better to me than a glass of wine and cheese of any kind. By day, I work in e-commerce marketing and by night I enjoy surrounding myself with butter and sugar and anything loaded with carbs.
I started making cakes for my two boys' birthdays but I found that twice a year wasn't enough to satisfy my desire to bake regularly, and although my kids would love nothing more than for me to raise them on a diet of cakes and cookies - I decided it would be a healthier plan to make cakes for friends and family (but don't worry - my kids get ALL the leftovers!)
And recently our local magazine, Life At The Points, enlisted me as a recipe contributor. It's so fun to share my family favorites and I am honored they enjoy my submissions!
